The Bathford Branch of the Royal British Legion will be launching their annual poppy appeal on Sunday 3 August 2008.

We will be having a garden party at the club from 1pm - 4pm.

Entertainment will include performances from the Westerleigh Brass Band and singing from up-and-coming talent Adam Workman.

A selection of Cream Teas and other beveridges will be available and marquees will be erected to protect us from the elements.

The Poppy Appeal is the main fundraising event by the Royal British Legion and its work is incredibly important to all those ex-service men and women who need their support.
