We shall hopefully have this problem fixed soon! THE LEGION STAIRLIFT APPEAL We are desperately trying to raise money for a new stairlift for use by our members and guests! We need YOUR help raising funds! Visit the appeal page now!!!!  The Bathford Branch of the Royal British Legion was formed in 1945, many of its founder members served in the 1914-1918 war and the 1939-1945 war and in the Home Guard. For the first few years of the club's existence it held meetings at the Bathford Parish Hall until abour 1950 where it purchased land at the top of Bathford Hill and proceeded to build a pre-fabricated hut on the site. This served as the clubhouse until about 1970 when they built the existing clubhouse, with carpark. 
The Bathford Royal British Legion Club is at the heart of the community of the village of Bathford. It is ideally placed in a central position with good links for local bus services and amenities. We also have our own car park so you don't have to worry about parking when you come and visit us. We have a diverse age range amongst our members the youngest being 18 and the oldest in their 90's. We are always looking for new members to join us at the club and membership only costs £12.00 per year (that's equivalent to £1 a month).  Why not pop in for a more intimate drink in our refurbished lower bar "The Pub In The Club".
Capturing the essence of the true British Country pub, our lower bar is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a pint. A friendly, comfortable atmosphere and the perfect place for a chilled out evening for you and the family!  Or why not pop in for a game of darts, pool or skittles?
