Remembrance Day

On Saturday 8 November we will have our annual Poppy Dance.

This is a chance to come along and commemorate those who have lost their lives in service to their country in conflicts old and new.

There will be music from Keyboard player "Trevor Howard" and food will be provided.

Entry is £3.00 - including food.

Remembrance Day Parade

On Sunday 9 November we will be parading the village standard through the village to St Swithun's Church for he service of remembrance at 10:00am.

We hope to again invite local Scouts and Guides to join the parade.

If you are fit and able we will form up in the Legion car park at 9:15am. Those who cannot manage the whole distance we will pick up on route.

If you have ex-service medals please wear them on the left side of your jacket, if you have family medals then please wear them on the right.

After the service all are welcome back to the Legion for soup and rolls and a chance to have a chat.
